It aimed to look beyond the legislation towards the reality of BIDs on the ground in London during 2004/2005. The conference was chaired by Greg Clark, LDA, and included various speakers from pilot BIDs around London as well as Jacquie Reilly, Project Director of the UK BIDs project and the launch of the Circle Initiative´s legal templates.

International BIDs Week 7th - 9th July 2003 As part of the London BIDs programme sponsored by the London Development Agency, Central London Partnership ran ‘International BIDs Week’ which featured speakers from Among the activities during the week were: · A Local Authorities Workshop – held at the London Development Agency · A Business Engagement Workshop – held at Grosvenor · An International BIDs Conference – held at the The workshops and conference generated a great deal of interest and enthusiasm from those who attended, and the knowledge gained and lessons learned have been brought together in an interactive report which can be downloaded from the publications section. The London BIDs newsletters contain information about the | Legal Templates A series of legal templates for BIDs has been produced by Denton Wilde Sapte for The Circle Initiative in collaboration with the London BIDs programme. Following the completion of the BIDs Regulations, all of the legal templates are now available. Each can be tailored to meet individual BIDs requirements though care should be taken with regard to footnotes. Legal advice should be sought on any unknown areas.
